Hello people. We're releasing the new Odyssey/Videopac game, Cold Case, more details: http://www.ataricompendium.com/game_library/classifieds/o2carts.html

Rafael

As usual I asked to include copy 13 for Victor and the highest number for Manopac. If it is not your wish, please inform.

Elias

Looks great! I recently bought a lot of some other homebrews you've developed (in the past). So now I got a nice homebrew collection, e.g. Laser Blitz, Moon Town, Haunted Woods, Free Food for Fish, Dark Dungeon, Mars Menace etc. I love all the gameplays, especially Mars Menace is brilliant with using these two joysticks at the same time. And I really like the very colourful environments on the screen (Moon Town, Mars Menace...hello!!!). Nice chosen screen splash colours and screen-filling. It's no flattery, I really like it. This game also looks great. Kind of mixed Frogger and Q*bert I think?

Rafael

Very happy for your words, Elias. Making games for Odyssey has always been a dream since childhood. And of course, that dream, to have these games thrown in cartridges is only possible thanks to you all who support us. I do not know if I said that before but among my games, Mars Menace is my favorite. I'm sure you'll like Cold Case. It is based on Atari's Frostibite, which mixes Qbert and Frogger. ;)

I'm in for one Odyssey 2 cart.... As with Moon Town, I think it'd be nice if we Americans got access to the G7400 rom for the plus graphics...

It seems that the PLUS gfx are included in the Odyssey2 version. It's the same ROM for both systems.
Do you want a Videopac G7400 with AV mod?

scottith

Yes, there's only 1 version of the game and it works with both systems.  Whether or not the ROM is released is up to Rafael since this is his game.

I have special admiration for people like J. Dondzila, Ted F, Soeren Gust, etc. These people, besides their excellent games, always left their games available to those who wanted to play them, and that's the great beauty of it all. I always wanted to make everything available. But where there is beauty, there is ugliness. People of bad temper who want to benefit from the work of others. Anyway, the rest of the story is already known.
