I ordered the Founders Edition.

Yes I have high hopes, we'll see what the future will bring.

Unfortunately the dollar had a big increase here. It ended up getting pretty expensive.

I will wait and see, what the OMNI console has for us.

For me, of course, are the Ed Averett games the most important games, like KC Munchkin

There will also be a new version of Quest for the Rings.

The great thing about the Amico is that's it intended to be played with friends "in the same room" just like in the old days and not for online gaming. This really appears to me.
Also the fact that you install an app on your phone which you can use as a controller and that way play with upto eight players at once.

Anyway, their campaign has succeeded in winning me over  :D

OMNI Games status says: Moon Patrol, Zaxxon, Ninja Kun, K.C. Munchkin!, Attack of the Timelord!, Pick Axe Pete!, Quest of the Rings and 1942 is under development in different stages.
Ed Averett will develop enhanced versions of some of his most popular 80's games for the upcoming Opcode OMNI console.
Ed Averett, is the man responsible for most of the best selling and best known Odyssey2 / Philips games back then.
Ed Averett has licensed Opcode Games many of his original Odyssey2 games and is supervising our work.
Games will be updated in all areas, graphics will be vastly improved, they will get proper soundtrack, better sound FX and voices, and gameplay will receive many new elements and things.
Opcode Games plans to offer 6 games when OMNI is finally released.

I'm interested in the Amico but waiting to see the physical system and games before considering purchasing. It looks promising. I like the family/group focused games but it may not be released until my chicks have flown the nest  :D

The omni is really cool looking (I am also a colecovision fan). I just question if it will every get built. They have already changed the concept since it was first announced. I understand how hard it is because this is a hobby for most of these creators and finding time to concentrate on "fun" stuff can be hard.

I put down a deposit almost 2 years ago.  Still waiting.
I guess if it ever ships I'll have one, but I'm not holding my breath.

I cancelled my founders edition.
I hope they will release it but I don't think it will have a very long life. The games they showed didn't really make my heart start racing.
