Forgive me the details, it is over 40 years since we had our Videopac.

With 2 brothers at home around 1980 (earlier?) we got our videopac with a couple of ROMs to play.
We rented ROMs in a local shop for a week to play as well.

When our connected joystick broke a neighbour fitted 2 9 pins RS232 at the back and we played on with ATARI-joysticks.
I did the same repair around 2004 when a collegae told me he had a videopac with broken joysticks.

In 2000 I coded a Videopac emulator on the ZX Spectrum which I am now trying to improve.
http://videopac.nl/forum/index.php?topic=3387.0

Begin march this year I coded PICK AXE PETE in shortened form in 1K for the ZX81.
Other games from the Videopac were base for 1K hires games as well

I might now consider porting games from my ZX81 to the Videopac, a game like SHOGUN for instance.

Greetings,
Johan "dr Beep" Koelman

I did not think Videopac joysticks ever broke!  Smiley  Mine original joysticks still work like new after 40 years of use.  I prefer Odyssey joysticks over the stock Atari joysticks.

Always room for more Videopac games, I hope you get some ported.
