I would like, once again, to thank you all for your support. Rally Racer is Sold Out, so our thanks. ;)

I hope there will be another release in Europe or at least a digital release, so more people can enjoy the game :-)

Unbelievable, I remember the good old days when this used to be a hobby and collectors tried to help each other out.

Nowadays they treat it like it's a valued multimillion dollar intellectual property like Mario or Star Wars. These "More Work" guys are definately not collector minded but just here to grab the dollars. And their timing isn't really the best. Believe me, Videopac/Odyssey games used to sell way better. I remember Dieter's releases selling out in weeks. But nowadays he needs years to sell the same amount. I'm sure VideopacBelgium knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Ah well, when the dealers take over the hobby, it just gets more expensive and way more frustrating for the collectors.

Don't worry Rafael, I know this is not on you.

Yes, I'm rambling but I don't care, even if I'm the forum administrator.

Janzl out!

I am 100 % with Robbert.

Do some certain people in Brazil know how the rest of the community thinks about them?

In my opinion, I think we need to learn to deal with our frustrations. I was a year without programming, thinking about quitting, because now, even to use the Odyssey logo, we need to pay our respects.. But it's something I like to do. I can't let bad people affect my hobby. Generally speaking, I think values are relative. What I mean is that, in my opinion, the Odyssey Brasil material has the best cost/benefit ratio, considering that each project includes a box, manual, artist, new cartridge, etc. But, that's my point of view as a collector, it's the product I want to have on my shelf, it's the product that evokes feelings of nostalgia in me, I feel like buying a game at the store like in the old days. Anyway, this is a dream project for me. Which means that, as an Odyssey collector, I prefer to pay a little more and feel that excitement of the old days...After Odyssey Brasil started its project, with cartridges manufactured whose molds were not even paid for, two or 3 models of cartridges appeared. 3d printed products, hastily made products, hacks and the like. Anyway, my dream was to have all the games released here, with the quality and love that Odyssey Brasil has. I would love to have Mr. Roboto, or KTAA released in a big way, but rushed to put them on the market just to say, "We've done it before" So that's not going to happen anymore. I don't want to have 5 different Turtles hacks. So, I decided that the official collection is the one that brings me feelings of joy. The last game I bought was Boxing (original) from Intellivision, it arrived last Thursday. The Odyssey is by far my favorite console, but if I'm going to buy something that I don't like, be it for price, for lack of aesthetic care, for lack of passion, I'd rather buy something else, an Intellivision game, a board game, gift my wife or my daughter. At the end of the day, the question that must be answered is this: Will buying this make you happy? Regarding my games, I have already mentioned in this forum that known friends from here will be able to ask for the rom of "any" game. I really admire what guys like Ted, Soeren etc have done, making the roms available. But, as I said, the Odyssey Brasil project is a dream of mine, as a collector, and each copy sold counts a lot for the continuity of the project, so stopping piracy is very important for the project to remain active. I have a very clear vision of what is done out of love and what is done out of hate. I know the people in Brazil who have always fought and done for the Odyssey. About Rally Race, possibly we we´ll have an Odyssey Brasil edition (if the project survive)

I've been thinking about this subject these days and I thought I had to return to it, after all, when it comes to people from Brazil, that includes me. sometimes you think you're being useful to the community, but that's not how the community sees you. Regarding the homebrew scene, I believe that the arrival of new games and the display of new projects is the little thing that keeps some activity in the Odyssey/Videopac scene. But it seems I'm wrong...From a game developer's point of view, when you dream of making a game you want to see it released in high quality. Anyone who knows my story knows that what made me choose Odyssey was especially the game arts, for me the most beautiful to date... Talking a little about More Work, I saw their work in an exhibition and found their work above media, which ended up bringing us together for a project. I don't think it's fair to compare the project that was made for Rally with a boxless game like Jack. If it's to compare, it would be fairer to compare it with a project with a box, like Space Cavern and then, at least in my view, I see Rally Racer as a project that should have a higher value. I particularly would not like to see my games released with half-sheet manula with fold marks. But, remember that these values are personal. Anyway, More Work should launch other projects by other programmers and I will gladly pay the amount charged. Of course, I have the privilege of having the item in my country. But, anyway, as I said, I always believed that the development of new games strengthened the community as a whole, what I would like to clarify, in this sense is whether the dissemination of new projects has been a bother to the Forum?
