Soccer

I'm beginning a soccer (or football) game.
Move the player around with the joystick and kick the ball with action. Not much is here at the moment. What do you think?

I totally forgot that when characters overlap, they cause funky things to happen, so I had to replace the characters with sprites. The ball was sprite 0, it's now character 0. The guy was character 0, now he's sprite 0. I added a second player in that can kick the ball as well. That's sprite 1. It took a whole bunch of work in order to make the guys be able to move again. They kept freezing for no apparent reason. But I think I fixed it and fixed the ball kicking again. I worked for 2.5 hours on this this morning. But what I have is 914 bytes, which is a lot of room for something that seems so small.
