Perhaps Philips had wild plans for later. Although I think there just needed to be a home screen and no one really cared about what it looked like. The home screen is the same for all Odyssey, Videopacs and derivative consoles, right? Or are there any differences between them? 

They changed the text (in the BIOS) for the French consoles.  I think it might translate to "Which Game?"  And the Plus consoles uses the Plus graphics for a collage of Select Games.

Added a win counter for the tic-tac-toe game and fixed some bugs.

I added a couple of minigames. One is Whack-an-O where you whack Os. The second one is one I'm working on where you avoid Os and you must save the Ps that move from right to left.

I want to put in a character that comes in periodically but I don't know what it should do.

How about a Q?

If the X catches a Q, then it is worth double the points awarded for catching a P

The mini game could be called "MIND YOUR Ps and Qs"
