Hi all!

Just wondering, what was the last Videopac game you played? And when was that? And how do you prefer to play?

When I bought Chez Maxime, I dug out my G7400 and tested it. Since I was using that one, I decided to get out all my plus games and give them a run. Last one I played was Loony Balloon. I had big troubles trying to score any point at all. That was about three/four weeks ago, before I went on my vacation.

On a sad note, I did find out my Videopac 1+ wasn't working anymore. Which is strange, cause I have played it before. Never had a cartridge die on me before. I tried cleaning it, but nothing seemed to help. Luckily this is one of the easiest ones to replace.

I sometimes do play games using emulation. I have an Anbernic RG351M that plays Videopac roms. My go to game in that case usually is Acrobats. Loved that game as a kid and I think it still holds up well today. Plays way better than Atari's Circus, even when using paddles.

So, what have you guys been up to? Still playing it just collecting? I always try to do both!

It's been a month, but my last played game is almost always "Showdown in 2100 AD".  I play on a real console with an AV mod.  No collecting for me, I just play.  I never played Acrobats much, I'll have to give that a try the next time I have my O2 out.

A month ago I played UFO, Crazy Chase, Killer Bees, Turtles and Smithereens (a lot) with my 8 years old son, while my other 15 years son was at his PS4... When he was younger we played at Acrobats.

I used to play retro games with my kids as well, when they were younger. My daughter lives on her own. I still have two sons at home, 16 and 18, but they are no longer interested in retro anymore.

It is fun to share this hobby with your kids, so do it while you can!

I did have a small group of family member that I meet up with every now and then. We play boardgames or video games. We once had a bowling competition on the Videopac, which was fun.
