Mr. Sweersa, I'm curious about your special O2 console.

I was digging through info from the O2 Homepage (stuff I have, but is no longer on the site at this time), that goes against your console!?

According to Williams, when he compiled his list, it went as follows in regards to the logo:

QuoteLogos - The Odyssey? logo on the console's upper left-hand corner may be flat
(stenciled directly on the console), or on a raised plastic rectangle.

The consoles with flat logos also have the word "Magnavox" printed above the power
button; the raised logo consoles do not.

I'm not doubting you 100%, but what you have goes against these findings of Williams a while back. I wonder, where did you get your O2!? Only reason I ask, is that at this point in time, it appears to be a one-of-a-kind.
I myself have an manual with the same numbers you have in yours, but I have no console that matches what you have. This is why I am questioning what you have!
I just want to clear this up, as it almost sounds like a model that may have been fixed at one point with parts from other consoles. So again, where did you get your O2? And, does it have a 'renewed' stamp on the bottom?

In other news, I've pinpointed my own BA7600 GY02 model, which goes against Williams original list - he has it show as a Standard RF Plug, I have two that have the old Non-standard plug. With my two, I would guess Williams list is incorrect (or we have another model on our hands)

I'm still amazed at how many bloody variation of the O2 Magnavox/NAP did!?   ;:)

I remember a while back noticing my console was different in the aspects you brought up, I emailed that guy who controlled the HOME web page about it, but he never replied....for whatever reason.

My aunt bought this console at a garage sale way back in the late 90's, I was just a kid.  Myself and my cousins played it a lot at her house (as well as her kids, who were obviously my cousins.)  She then gave it to my grandma, who had it at her house for while, she then passed it on to me before selling it at one of her own garage sales!

I brought the console home with me, and loved the feeling playing it as I had did a lot as a kid at my aunt's and grandma's house, I have owned and took great care of it since then.  And of course I still play with it!

I have checked, it has no renewed stamp on the bottom.  I just took a few pictures and will post them on this message, just to ensure you of this, and the variation.  If I am not mistaken, I believe I have seen one or two consoles like this on ebay, with the rough keyboard, flat logo, and no Magnavox logo.  But I could be mistaken.

Thanks for all of your info and support Mr. Ozyr.

Thanks for the shots. Looks like the official missing link between Magnavox and NAP!

Your welcome!  I hope one day more info could light our way to solve this mystery!
