I've been thinking about starting on games in the next few months in this section of the forum, but I've bumped into one issue.

Does the Forum represent an area that is ideal enough to present this type of information?

In simple terms, I've looked at other lists on the forum, and presenting the data in a good format seems almost impossible. I did a decent job myself with the released homebrew/proto listing, but it was a pain to do it.

I wonder if it would just be easier to have an offsite listing, with a link from here to it?

What do other folks out there think about this!?

I think a short of excel sheet would be nice. I all ways find this the easiest way of making a list with a good overview.
Maybe some people can help with the format if you know what to put into the list.
8 bits of fun

yes unfortunately the options for working in tables are very limited and very user-unfriendly.
Maybe you can put up list on your site. It gives you all the "html-liberties" to make an easy-editable and user-friendly list. We just put a link from the forum to the list.

Yes, I was thinking of putting a link here, as I could code a page much better than on the form. Guess I will go that way for now. It will still be a bit before I start, as I'm still super busy with work (finally) and college! :o

Your welcome to a copy of my spreadsheet if it might help with some ideas, or even as a base if you think it works and a spreadsheet could be a way to go. It has separate pages for games, Jopacs, Brazilian, O2, Consoles & box sets.

However it does still need work on things like different console versions and variations. There are a few things I could add from BuckyBs txt list.

Luckily I transfered it to my portable HD yesterday so I do have it here with me in Amsterdam  :)
