Finally got round to getting a boxed O2, and the guy is open to offers on the shipping.
Anybody got any experience/suggestions for finding cheap international shipping from the US?

Cheap courier... with our gas price issues, all I've got to say is, "good luck." And I mean that in a nice way.

I always used to find it amazing that petrol was so cheap in the US, I haven't been in a few years but I'll bet it's still cheaper than here.

It cost me ?56 yesterday to fill the wifes little Audi A3 car, that's about US$110. Petrol here is now an average ?113.5 a litre and where I live is always above average petrol price.

Roll on hydrogen cells... or better still the flux capacitor  :)

Yeah, where I live it is like 4.19 (Michigan is usually way above national average) a gallon, with it being less than half that a year ago or more people obviously freak out.  I am not sure why it is cheaper than Europe, but with longer distances and typically larger gas guzzlers here people really freak out.  I drive a 4 cylinder Ford Ranger, it is a tiny truck, so I get good mileage so long as I stay off the high way where the engine is close to maxed out at 70-80 MPH.  LOL

Apparently here it is mainly because of the tax on fuel that the price is so high. The government has also introduced road tax brackets now, rather than fixed price for all vehicles, and I'm going to be hammered on that as well  :(

I have family in the US, so I know your fuel has risen much quicker than ours recently, truly I feel your pain! Luckily my company pay my petrol so I only have to pay 40% of the list price, but it still hurts.

It does get frustrating at times.  I just try to relax for now, and hope that the prices will decrease or even stay the same. (hate to say that as high as they are)

Gas price in the netherlands is ? 1,65 a liter. So a US gallon (3.79 liter) costs $ 9,86.
I think i have to get a second job soon with these prices.

I was aware that gas/petro costs more oversea's but I didn't know it was THAT high.  European cities have developed so they are less car dependent (it helps that they were built-out before cars were invented  ;) ) than we are in america which is why European's are probably tired of us whining when your prices are twice ours.  We drive more out of necessity.  Things are slowly changing but it will take a serious oil crisis before rail systems and mass transit are widely supported.
