Does anyone in the forum enjoy listening to Vinyl through a proper Audiophile system?

Nope, I enjoy pluging the ipod into the car and whacking it to full volume.
I sold all my vinyl last year, and my Dads, included a load of first edition Beatles stuff that was in really good nick.

I have my vinyls waiting to find a reasonable good system to play them on.

I have three Star Wars LP records.  I believe most are from 1977+ maybe into the 80's.  I also have 2 sealed smaller records (I think 45s) of a Return of the Jedi story book that goes along with the record.

Your not saying you like vinyl, your saying you like anything to do with Star Wars  :)

I still have a decent turntable - I wouldn't exactly call it audiophile equipment, mind you - but I only hook it up anymore to transfer records that haven't been issued on CD.

However...I do keep a lot of my favorite old vinyl around for decorative purposes!

I do believe that is an honourable course, and I do believe that vinyl is something that needs to be preserved.

My dad gave me an old 1977 8-Track tape of the star wars book read along.  It contains dialogue that was cut out of the original film, so it is cool.

No, have to find myself a turntable. I want to listen to my War of the Worlds LP. Love it above the cd release because of the artwork that came with the LP. Also have a few picture single that look nice.
8 bits of fun

Pretty much yeah. :)  I am hoping to pay good money for a Parker Bros. Star Wars proto someday...

ANDYRYALS

Perhaps we should do a rarity guide for proto's? Parker protos must be some of the hardest to find?

Do we know for sure if a Star Wars proto exists somewhere?

ANDYRYALS
