'The hole' got filled with concrete this morning. The good news was that it turned out to be a rainwater well, so wasn't full of human waste. We did have to have the corner of the house demolished though.

Brickwork starts on Monday, wifes back from China on Tuesday, so she missed the whole thing!

I have, but actually I was showing her round with the webcam on the laptop. Really fast and a good quality pic, considering she is 4000 miles away.

The builder must think I'm a right plank.

  Haha love those new technology. Last week i internetted with my laptop using my mobile as modem. Lucky i don't have to pay the bill, it was my bosses phone. I had to use it for work so it's oke.
