even I think its time for him to accept that THIS is the videopac-forum now ... trying to create lots of posts in his own forum hoping people would post their is a rather pathetic attempt at ignoring this forum here ...

(that said: I really like the info on his site, I wish he could just accept that THE forum is on a different site now and just link here ...)
sex, lies, and videopac

Richard wrote that he will join this forum soon.

Yes List, I think I will mostly be posting here, even though I dropped a few things there already (one pointing to here). It is nice to have his site up again, but as you have stated, Richard and his interests are not that stable. Time will tell.

I'll give him credit for bringing the site back up. It has some nice info on it (not the forum, but the site itself).

I can't recall this forum being down more than a day (if ever)! I expect it to be here a long time!  8)

I'm here to stay.  Security is important to me, which is why I use Windows. (hehe)

Security! Windows!  :P

Sweersa

lol  So long as I keep my backups up to date and update my various security related programs frequently I have a good sense of security.

If I didn't back up...I would feel pretty scared relying on Windows by itself to keep my data around. lol

I am a believer in backing up.  May save one a lot of trouble.

Worried about your network connections but don't understand firewalls?
Scared about personal files being stolen from your hard disk or through wireless connections?
Concerned about phishing and viruses?
Petrified that you dont have a recent backup?
Hysterical that your operating system may become corrupt?

I use the Philips G7000, all the fun with none of the crap.

With a G7400 + C7420 you could even write your own word processor or spreadsheet, what else would you need? Well, maybe we should write a simple web browser ...

I am a Windows fan boy becuase I game a lot and work with applications that are pretty much PC exclusive and such.

All though the newer Apple laptops have caught my attention, for me I would only ever use a lappy for word processing, communication, and web surfing so a mac would be fine for me, and it never hurts to try something new!

Plus, I can always install Windows on the newer intel based macs, so I have nothing to loose!

Packrat

I forgot that the O2 had Intel inside! Now who is volunteering to create that web browser! :P

Any web browser should use the "k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-POW" sound from the Voice from Killer Bees to signify that a page has loaded.
